Republic Day in Türkiye: 103 Years of the Republic

October 29 is Republic Day in Türkiye. On this day in 1923, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk proclaimed the Republic of Türkiye and set the country on a path built on science, education and modern engineering.

Today the nation marks its 103rd anniversary with flags, ceremonies and celebrations across the country.

The same pride, boundless hope. Happy Republic Day.
