eMOBINO VCU.io · Vehicle control software · On request

The adaptive brain of the electric vehicle, from first drive to homologation.

eMOBINO VCU.io is advanced, model-based vehicle control software for electric vehicles. Proven on Türkiye’s first OEM-homologated light commercial BEV, it adapts torque, energy and thermal strategies to the driver, the load and the road for more range, sharper response and a safer drive.

Why VCU.io

The VCU.io difference.

View from the back seat of an electric vehicle prototype on a test track: the driver seen from behind, a laptop with a dark screen on the passenger seat connected by a cable to the dashboard

Model-based from day one

Control strategies are designed and verified as models against a full vehicle model built in eMOBINO xEV Sim, in MiL, SiL and HiL, and production code is generated from the same models. Calibration starts before the first prototype.

Proven through homologation

Built on the control software behind Türkiye’s first OEM-homologated light commercial BEV: functions that have already passed type approval, not concepts.

Adaptive energy and torque

Energy management, regenerative braking and torque shaping adapt to driving style, payload, gradient and battery state, extending range without dulling performance.

Built for your platform

A modular function library for single or multi-motor layouts, light commercial vehicles, buses and conversions, running on the automotive controller you choose.

What it covers

The brain between the driver and the powertrain.

Drive and torque control

Driver demand interpretation, torque arbitration, drive modes, creep and hill hold.

Adaptive energy management

Power split between battery, motors and auxiliaries, blended regenerative braking and live range prediction.

Traction and multi-motor control

Wheel slip control and torque distribution across multiple motors, coordinated with the brake and stability systems.

High-voltage and charging states

Power-up, power-down and AC and DC charging sequences, coordinated with the BMS, the charger and the vehicle network.

Thermal management

Cooling and heating strategies for the battery, motors and power electronics, including battery preconditioning.

Diagnostics and fault handling

UDS diagnostics, fault detection and degraded modes that keep the vehicle safe and drivable.

Connectivity and OTA

CAN FD and automotive Ethernet, XCP calibration and secure over-the-air updates with cybersecurity in line with ISO/SAE 21434.

Functional safety and verification

ISO 26262 and ASPICE aligned work products, safety mechanisms and automated MiL, SiL and HiL test campaigns.

Where it fits

For vehicle programs that need control software compliant with global standards.

Available on request. Built on eMOBINO’s model-based vehicle control engineering and delivered as a licensed application with integration and calibration support, or within an engineering program.
